Site Changes

As you can see the site design is changing and because of that we have to rework some of the existing things in the site. In particular the sponsor pages for the individual states so please bare with us until we have this taken care of.
The scrolling section will now serve as a shortcut to access the individual states sponsors list. The menu on the left will be the shortcut to access links for individual state points, photo albums, results, sponsors list and state director info.
Below the left menu is an RSS feed for RC Sign Up where you can find a number of State Series events listed and available for online entry.
2008 Illinois State Series Press Release

After careful consideration, Lorrie and I have the Illinois State schedule is now finalized. This schedule will make someone mad. This schedule will look
as if we have forgotten the northern part of the state. We have not. In 2009 we will rotate two of this years tracks out and bring in two more. Please don't be discouraged
if your track is not on a schedule, please apply for a round in 2009. We have reason for going or not going to every track in Illinois this year. We will not voice
these reasons. If you have questions why AND you are a track owner please email me you question and a phone number and I will talk to you directly. For the racers, if
you have any recommendations for the state series please email them to me. My email address is 95dirtcircus@gmail.com .
After very much racer input and the amount of big races on the schedule, Lorrie and I have decided to only schedule 3 races. Because of the 3 race schedule
there will NOT be any drops. The races, as it was last year, will be one day events.
We are also introducing a new class for the state series, the Intermediate Arena Truck class. I recommend that if you run in the A or B mains at a divisional
level, you should run expert classes instead of intermediate classes. This will NOT lock you into the expert classes for your divisional racing. Also the new rules
about the chassis sponsors also applies to the state series.
Rumors have been that we were dropping the Monster Truck class. We are not this year, but to be honest, the class attendance is being looked at very hard for
possible changes to that for 2009. Monster Truck guys, help build up the class. A minimum of 8 trucks at each race is what we are looking for.
ALSO, this year, if we have less than 10 in an A main in any class, the main will be cut in half time wise. At tracks with supporting software, we will loading
more than 10 in the qualifiers. We will be using the 10 car points system as described in the Pro Series Rules.
